ABOUT THE EVENT
This first-time event is designed to create a simple, practical opportunity for tourism, hospitality, and service-based businesses to connect in person.
While there are many strong individual operators across the region, there are limited opportunities to come together in a structured but informal setting to build relationships and better understand what each business offers.
The goal is straightforward:
help local businesses connect, collaborate, and support each other through stronger referral networks and shared ideas.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a relaxed, low-pressure session focused on real conversations and useful connections.
- A brief round of introductions from attendees
- Informal networking and conversation
- Opportunities to connect directly with other operators
- A welcoming environment with no formal presentations
There’s no need to prepare anything beyond a short introduction of your business.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This session is intended for businesses and organizations involved in:
- Accommodations
- Food & beverage
- Experiences and attractions
- Retail and local products
- Events and entertainment
- Transportation and travel services
- Tourism and community organizations
- Other tourism-related services
OPTIONAL: “HOME BASE” TABLES
Optional table space for each category of business (“home bases”) will be available if you’d like to set out business cards or small promotional materials. If you have materials like this (business cards, rack cards, etc.) it may be helpful to bring them along so you can distribute to key partners without having to travel around with them.
Participation is completely optional—many attendees will simply come to connect and have conversations.
REGISTRATION
Please register by end of day May 22 if you’re fairly certain you plan to attend. This helps with name tags and planning for refreshments.
Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration is appreciated.
This is a first-time initiative, with the potential to become an ongoing opportunity for collaboration across the region.
